I’ve been running for just over three years now and I love it! I hope to do it for the rest of my life. I appreciate a good dad joke and am a closet math nerd.

I took a few days off after Ragnar. My whole body just hurt. I did four miles with McKenna. The first two felt good but then my knees started hurting and I got major shin splints. I hate those. I'm icing my knees right now and then I'll stretch them out. Hopefully they feel better. They probably will. If anyone has any advice though for treating knee pain and shin splints, it would be much appreciated.

fill up a styrofoam cup with water then freeze it and tear off the top and use it to ice massage your shins! Works quite swell!

Does that work for you, Nathan?

I don't know about Zack's method. Nathan's usually works for me
