Mile warm up and dynamics, followed by a 70 minute run. Our average pace was about 8:30 which was nice. When we did this last week it really hurt. It felt really good today though. Finished with dynamics. S/O to Eugene for remaining completely calm during the  car/ Rubik's cube incident.

Quick two miles to get my weekly mileage up to 30. The run felt good. It was pretty fast, about 13 minutes but it was down hill so that helped. I probably should have done more but I didn't feel like it. Walked three miles with my mom after.

Seven miles at 8:15 pace this morning.  It was a nice run and I felt good the whole time. It wasn't too hot either which was great because it's supposed to get really hot later on. S/O to Eugene for doing the Freedom 10k. Good luck!!! Happy 4th y'all🇺🇸

Mile warm up and then some core. The core took longer than we thought it would. We were originally going to go on a run after, but we decided to eat cereal at the park instead. I plan on getting a few miles in tonight.

Three more miles tonight. I walked four miles with my mom after that. We saw the sunset tonight, which was beautiful. The clouds looked so cool. It was a total Bob Ross moment. #happyclouds #itsyourworld I can only imagine what he would've said had he seen it.✌🏼🙏🏼 🌞🌄🌈☮

Six miles this morning. It was a mile warm up followed by dynamics, a three mile fartlek,  a mile repeat, and a mile cool down.

Today's workout was a mile warm up, dynamics, core, wind sprints, and a three mile run in the time trial course. It all felt really good today. I'm really excited for official team time trials, I think I could be mid to low 20s.

Today was another 70 minute run. After a mile warm up and dynamics, Reagen and I set out. We covered 8 miles at an 8:30 pace. It was a good run. The first four miles sucked. I wasn't feeling it and I was sort of bored. The bordem went away though as soon as we passed these goats. Have you ever heard of the goat simulator game? Well imagine that game in real life with two goats. It was sort of wierd. They were jumping around and sticking their tongues out and then started angrily bleating at me. Not Reagen(she didn't even notice them), just me. The last four miles were nice. They felt really good. Dynamic and static stretching for cool down.

Today was a nice long run with Jacia and Reagen. Mile warm up with dynamics and then we did a 7.5 mile run. The pace wasn't as fast as it should have been, but we weren't too far off. This course was more hilly than usual so it was a nice change. After we finished that we cooled down for a mile to get the 9.5 and then some dynamic and static stretching.

Today was pretty easy. It was a mile warm up, core, and an easy 2.5 mile run. Tomorrow is either a tempo or another long run day so I didn't want to be too sore. Plus, my legs were dead from yesterday. I found out our average pace was an 8:38 which is only four seconds off the normal long run pace. I need to get a slow long run in this week. Got home and binged watched Criminal Minds for a while. My PTSD kicked in and I had brief flashbacks to my night run during Ragnar....

Today was a mile warm up, four mile repeats at 6:40ish average pace, and then a mile cool down. I felt really, really good. The last repeat hurt a lot though, that wasn't fun. Otherwise it was a great workout.

Roadkill Statistics:

Sorry y'all but no running on the road today, so sadly there were no dead animals to count.

Today was pretty easy: Mile warm up and dynamics followed by core. After that it was an easy two mile run and then cool down dynamics.

Roadkill Statistics:

There was sadly no roadkill today besides a dead rabbit that's been in the same spot for days.

Today was originally going to be another long run, but instead we did a 4 mile fartlek type thing. After a mile warm up, we set out. We did our fartlek in half mile incriments. I was super happy that I hit all of my goal paces. Cooled down for about .75 and then played an intense game of ultimate frisbee after. That added about another half mile.

Met up with Reagen and McKenna this morning for a quick run. After a mile warm up and dynamics, we did the five mile loop. The evil goats were there again, but they stayed quiet so no aggressive bleating. 3/4 mile cool down to end our run and then some dynamic and static stretching. It was an overall good run.

Woke up late this morning and was almost late to practice. The team did a mile warm up and dynamics and then the coaches had us do the five mile loop. Jacia, Reagen and I added on kids canal to get in the extra mileage. We maintained a good pace and then surged at the end. That really hurt. Mile cool down with them and McKenna after.

S/O to Kenny for catching us and getting some fast surges in and S/O to Kedric for also killing it today.

Today a group of us went and ran Dino Tracks. That was pretty fun. We spent some time cliff jumping. I didn't jump because I was scared. It's not the height or the fall, but it's the impact. When I swam, I used to belly flop instead of diving. I hate that feeling and I'm afraid of doing some major belly flop. It would really hurt to from a cliff. Anyways, super fun run.

Lots of rabbits. Too many rabbits.

Today was a speed day. After the usual warm up, we did a fartlek run. It was 5 hard 5 easy, 4 hard 4 easy, and so on all the way down to one. Jacia, Reagen, and I decided to stay on the grass to practice pacing since the majority of our races will be on grass. Cool down dynamics after.

Roadkill Statistics:

We were mainly in the park so there was no roadkill to count.

Woke up and ran to the park this morning. I felt like getting a few more miles today since its core and we don't usually get a lot of mileage on core days. Almost no one showed up for practice. Counting myself there was literally four people. We ran a mile warmup, did some core and then did the canal root. It was an overall easy day. Really, really looking forward to the seventy minute run tomorrow... We saw Pokemon go dude today. He has been very diligent in taking his dog out everyday for the past two weeks for a walk.

Today was another seventy minute run. After the normal warm up, everyone set out. Kedric and Talon joined Jacia, Reagen, and I today. We ended up getting about 8.5 miles in at an 8:26 average pace. All of the girls were really happy. That's faster than we've ever run this before. I think it helped to have a new course. Running the same thing all the time sort of sucks. We did a half mile cool down after. Jacia, Reagen, and I went and dipped our feet in the canal. The water was extremely cold. I'm surprised my feet didn't freeze into giant ice blocks like in cartoons. All three of us are really looking forward to the USU cross country camp next week. I think it'll be really fun, especially since McKenna and Kyrie are coming also.  I saw this snake today and I almost screamed out loud. I hate snakes.

So today was the first day of USU XC camp. It was a joyous run in 100 degree weather. I luckily didn't get dehydrated because I drank like 150oz of water before. It was cool though to run with runners from all over the western United States. I still died though.

This morning we had the Morning Mile Challenge at USU. I ran a 5:48 which is a PR so I'm very happy. In the afternoon we did intervals with groups based on our mile times. My group had to do 12 sets of one minute hard/one minute fast. Cooled down with the Freemont kids after. They're pretty cool. Then in the evening, we ran anothe 3 miles and swam after.

Today was a mile warm up, hurdle stretches, and then a timed 5K on USU's course. It was not my best race but I'm just getting back into the racing mind set. Cooled down with Freemont again. Today was the last day of camp. I was super sad to leave because I had a really good time with Jacia, Reagen, McKenna, Kyrie, and the Freemont kids. I'm excited to attend this camp next year.

My legs were really sore today. Luckily it was just core and an easy run. Henderson ran with McKenna and I. It was nice to be able to have a little more one on one time with him.

My stomach sunk this morning when I remembered that Henderskn had said it was going to be mile repeats. Nevertheless, I got myself out of bed and went to practice. After the mile warm up my legs were shot. I still gave it my all on the first repeat. I ran a 7:25. The second one I ran a 7:30. By then, Henderson and Hill told Jacia, McKenna, and I to just cool down. They saw that we weren't running our usual times and wanted us to recover. I didn't argue with that. I'm supposed to take two days off for recovery and that's exactly what I'm going to do. XC camp really killed, but I don't regret it at all. I'm excited for out team camp and plan on getting the death hill record. Pray for me.🙏🏼
